Meet Tania Stanacyzk
Avon Lake vintage artist Tania Stanaczyk blends her love of crafts with keeping sacred memories alive. A Mama of 3 and a Mimi of 2 (with another grand due in April), Tania is an old soul living in modern society.
She discovered art at an early age by taking classes every day after school for many years, and was introduced to crafts by her late mother, Nancy, who originated the name memories of wood in the craft show circuit circa 1980.
Tania savors the beauty of each piece of wood by creating a legacy of cherished commemorative art to both sell and teach.

Instructional Group Workshop
$35 per Piece • Snacks & Wine Bar • Seating for 30
memories of wood is excited to collaborate with Pete Sandrev of both The Wine Room and Power House Gym in Avon. Everyone attending this group workshop receives a 14-day pass for either gym time or classes! This workshop features interactive instruction by Tania to create your masterpiece, along with complimentary Charcuterie board snacks, and a cash wine bar. Channel your inner creativity with this fun and relaxing workshop!
Adult Themed Party (Ages 18+)
$450 for Ten Guests • 2.5 Hours • Choose Location
Have fun with friends or family with our party! For $450, ten guests are invited to either The Wine Room or a mutually agreed upon location for 2.5 hours of relaxation and string art creations. Do you have more than ten folks who would enjoy this? Each additional guest is $40 and the more the merrier! Plus, the host of the workshop is free! Get your group together for the party of the year!
Tween Party
(Ages 10+)
$350 for Ten Guests • 2.5 Hours • Choose Location
Why should only the adults have fun? Bring together your tween’s closest friends for a day of crazy fun creativity! For $350, ten tweens will create masterpieces at a mutually agreed upon location. The host child is free, and all supervising adults can participate free of charge as well. Any additional tweens can come along for $30 each. Give your tween an afternoon they’ll never forget with our party!
Itty, Bitty, & Me Class (Ages 3-9)
$300 for 10 Guests • 2.5 Hours • Special Crafts
Let memories of wood make your child’s big day extra special by supporting their creativity and artistic development! Choose from a variety of fun and colorful patterns; most patterns are available upon request. For $300, bring your child’s best friends together for 2.5 hours of unbelievable fun. Additional friends are welcome for $25 each. Our itty pieces of wood have pre-drilled holes and the kids use mini hammers with yarn for their finish work as it’s easier for their bitty hands!
Couple’s Party
$150 • 2.5 Hours • Food, Drinks, and Chocolate
memories of wood will bring a bottle of your favorite drink, cheese & crackers, and Faroh’s chocolate charcuterie board to a romantic evening for you and your special someone! For $150, we’ll spend 2.5 hours creating two individual pieces to display side-by-side on your wall or mantel. Tania will travel 25 miles from Avon Lake to your home or to a location mutually agreed upon with no travel expense!
Corporate Workshops
Have memories of wood help you to inspire your company’s productivity and communication through a fun alternative to traditional employee training with our Team Building Workshop! String Art is proven to hone strategic planning and create meaningful value through an innovative skill. memories of wood will bring the workshop to you for a stress-free session in the comfort of your own workspace, or we’ll host up to 30 employees at The Wine Room in Avon.
Want a challenge? Set the stopwatch for five minutes and string blindfolded. Use your non-dominant hand or switch art pieces mid-way through with a neighbor! For this workshop, we welcome an initial 8 employees along with any others for an additional $25 per person.
